Smoking:
Our property is smoke-free

Children:
Children over 5 years old are welcome on our property. However, we remind parents of the importance of keeping children under adult supervision at all times. Our estate is large and has trails and wooded areas where little ones could get lost.

Additionally, as we value the peace and quiet our guests seek, we ask parents to be considerate of other visitors. If children cause property damage or disturb other guests, the estate may cancel the reservation and request the guests to leave the property, with no refund.

Pets:
Pets are not allowed on the property, including service animals.

Liability, Loss, or Damage to Property
Finca "Brisas de la Montaña" is not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal equipment and/or property during your stay with us or while participating in any activities. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss or damage to a vehicle or property contained within it while parked entering or leaving the premises. We do not accept responsibility for any delays, extra costs, or inconveniences that may arise directly or indirectly from events beyond our control, such as delays in international or local flights, civil disturbances, fires, floods, extreme weather, force majeure, government actions, or equipment failures.

Brisas de la Montaña maintains policies to combat all forms of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents and supports Law #7899, which penalizes such human exploitation, as we believe that sexual exploitation undermines the fundamental objectives of tourism. Brisas will immediately terminate any contract with a company that contributes in any way to facilitating or promoting sexual exploitation. Additionally, we reserve the right to cancel reservations for passengers or guests whose inappropriate behavior may disturb or affect services to other clients.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

General Considerations:

  • All our rates are for single or double occupancy, for three or four people depending on the type of accommodation chosen by the customer. Additionally, the published prices are subject to a 13% tax, which will be applied at the time of payment. An additional charge of $50 will be applied for each extra person, defined as any person beyond the two occupying the room or accommodation. It should be emphasized that an additional charge of $500.00 per day will be applied if the customer chooses to smoke inside the room.
  • All direct bookings require full payment at the time of reserving the stay. Reservations not paid immediately are subject to cancellation without prior notice. Agency bookings may be subject to special conditions; please consult our reservations department for more details.
  • Payments are accepted only in U.S. dollars and can be made with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. We do not accept cash or wire transfers; only card payments are accepted.

 

Payment Policies:

  • Payment: All reservations, regardless of the season, require full payment to be confirmed.
  • Guarantee: All reservations require a credit card to guarantee the booking.

 

Cancellation Policies:

  • Cancellations must be made in writing and sent via email to [email protected]. Additionally, all cancellations must be confirmed as received by Brisas de la Montaña to be considered valid.
  • During high season, from December 20 to January 15 and the entire Holy Week, there will be no refunds in case of cancellation. No-shows will also not receive refunds.
  • For dates that are not during high season, guests can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the arrival date, except when a non-refundable special rate (last-minute promotions) has been purchased. However, guests are only responsible for a 10% payment for bank fees and administrative costs.
  • Brisas de la Montaña will not be responsible for natural disasters, fires, road blockages, weather conditions, flight cancellations by airlines, government directives, or any other circumstances beyond our control that may prevent the provision of agreed services. No refunds will be issued.
  • Packages: Due to the variety of services involved, cancellations, regardless of the reason, are subject to a 100% penalty of the total amount originally paid. No refunds apply.
  • Reservations where the booker does not show up, decides not to use the room, and/or decides to leave prematurely are non-refundable, regardless of the season.

 

Additional Considerations:

  • Due to our payment and cancellation policies, it is recommended to use travel insurance.
  • Our rates are valid from the date of publication and are subject to change without prior notice. Confirmed and paid reservations are exempt from any rate changes.

FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE: Finca Brisas de la Montaña is exempt from responsibility for the non-fulfillment of the agreements specified in this document, caused directly or indirectly by any circumstance beyond human control.

Other Property Regulations

  • Music:Not allowed on the property to preserve the tranquility of the forest animals and neighbors. Please use headphones.
  • Quiet Hours:All public areas must remain quiet after 9:00 p.m.
  • Pool Hours:Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Trails:The forest trails are closed after 6:00 p.m. for your safety.
  • Additional Guests:No additional guests or visitors not included in the initial reservation are allowed
  • Security:Our property is equipped with security cameras in all public areas for your safety
